An Ordinance to amend the Clean Air Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Clean Air (Amendment) Ordinance 1971.
2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by deleting the definitions of "competent authority" and
"dark smoke" and substituting the following-
"approved device means a device approved by the
Governor under section 2A:
"chimney" means a construction enclosing a five
and attached to or forming part of a building; "competent authority" means a competent authority appointed by the Governor in accordance with section 10;
