Repeal and replacement of section 5.
**"vehicle" means a mechanically propelled vehicle intended
or adapted for use on roads.".

Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-
"By-laws.

3. The company may, with the approval of the Governor in Council, make by-laws for
(a) the conduct of its business and the main-
tenance of order on its premises;
(b) the prohibition, either conditionally or otherwise, of the use by passengers or by the public of the company's piers and premises!
(c) the control of the use of a car park, includ- ing the limitations of such use to any par- ticular person or vehicle or any class of persons or vehicles;
(d) the fees payable for the use of a car park; (e) the removal from a car park of a vehicle,
without notice to the owner thereof, is respect of which there has been a contra- vention of any by-law made pursuant to this section, and the fees payable in respect of such removal;
(f) the disposal, by sale or otherwise, or the destruction of vehicles which have been un- claimed in a car park for more than a period specified in the by-laws.".
Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-
"Offences and penalties.
5. A by-law made under section 3 may provide that a contravention or breach thereof shall be an offence and shall be punishable by such a fine, not exceeding five hundred dollars, as may be specified therein.".
