An Ordinance to amend further the Fatal Accidents Ordinance
and to make amendments to related Ordinances.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fatal Accidents Short title.
(Amendment) Ordinance 1970.
2. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is repealed and replaced by the following-
"Interpreta- tion.

2. (1) In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
[et. 1959, c. 63. "adopted" means adopted in pursuance of an adoption order made under the Adoption Ordinance or by any adoption recognized as valid by the law of the Colony:
"child" includes son and daughter, and grandson and
granddaughter.
