An Ordinance to amend the Employment Ordinance.
[9th January, 1970.]
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Employment Short title.
(Amendment) Ordinance 1970.
1. The long title of the principal Ordinance is amended by inserting after "regulate" the following-
Amendment of
long title.
(Cap. 53
"general conditions of employment and".
3.
Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended-
(a)
by inserting, after the definition of "Commissioner”, the following new definition-
""confinement" means the delivery of a child;"; and
Amendment of section 2.
