MERCHANT SHIPPING ORDINANCE. (Chapter 281).
MERCHANT SHIPPING (CONTROL OF PORTS) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 1969.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations
I. These regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Control of Ports) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1969,
2. Regulation 5 of the principal regulations is amended- (a) in paragraph (3), by deleting sub-paragraph (4); and (b) by inserting after paragraph (3) the following~

“(3A) Except with the prior permission of the Director, no vessel which has an overall length ex- ceeding three hundred feet shall anchor, berth, moor, lie or loiter within the Yau Ma Tei Anchorage which is the arca bounded by straight lines joining the following positions-
(a) latitude 22" 19" 10" north, longitude 114"
09 15" east;
(6) latitude 22° 19' 10" north, longitude 114*
08" 43" east;
(c) latitude 22° 18′ 36′′ north, longitude 114"
08' 36" east:
(d) latitude 22" 18" 24" north, longitude 114°
09′ 21′′ east.".
Regulation 9 of the principal regulations is amended-
(@) in paragraph (1), by inserting after "and" the following- except with the permission of the Director."; and
(b) in paragraph (3), by deleting "Within" and substituting
the following-
"Except with the permission of the Director, within".
4. Regulation 27 of the principal regulations is revoked.
