(c) detain any person found in any building. or place which he is empowered by this regulation to search until the same has been scarched:

(d) detain any vessel or vehicle which he is em- powered by this regulation to search until the same has been searched;

(e) detain any vessel or vehicle until an in- flammatory poster has been removed or obliterated therefrom; and

(f) remove any person from any vehicle or vessel while any inflammatory poster is re- moved or obittérated."

EMERGENCY REGULATIONS (REPEAL) ORDER 1969.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Emergency Regulations Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following order--

1. This order may be cited as the Emergency Regulations Citation, (Repeal) Order 1969.

The regulations listed in the Schedule are repealed.

These regulations Insert into the Emergency (Principal) Regulations the provisions of two sals of Emergency Regulations which were passed in 1967 to deal with inflammatory posters and speeches. It is not intended to bring than into force at present.

This order repeals four sets of emergency regulations, listed in the Schedule.

Items 1 and 2 have been inserted in the Emergency (Principal) Regula- tione by LN. 16 of 1969, though it is not intended to bring them into force at present.

Item 3 is not required, since similar provisions ace now to be found in the Public Order Ordinance.

Item 4 was concerned with devaluation and has had its effect.
