(Chapter 101).
URBAN COUNCIL ELECTIONS (REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1970,
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Urban Council Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the follow- ing regulations-
1. These regulations may be cited as the Urban Council Elections (Registration of Electors) (Amendment) Regulations 1970.
Regulation 3 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (1) by deleting "the 15th day of September 1966 and as soon as is practicable after".
3. Regulation 6 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (1) by
(a) substituting a full stop for the colon; and
(6) deleting the proviso,

Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is amended
(a) in the proviso to paragraph (1) by deleting ", in the case of an application made în the year 1966, such particulats or proof are supplied to his satisfaction before the 1st day of October 1966, or, in the case of an application made in any subsequent year,"; and
(b) in paragraph (3) by--
(i) substituting a full stop for the colon at the end of sub-paragraph (đ); and
(i) deleting the proviso.
5. Regulation 8 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "the 16th day of November 1966 and on or before",
6. Regulation 9 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (2) by
(a) substituting a full stop for the colon; and
