Purpose of CEDRUS
(p. 3163
Destruction of returns,
(0) the manufacture of metal, including founding, smelting
and rolling:
(p) the manufacture of metal products, machinery, apparatus
and appliances, including machinery repair:
(q) the manufacture of electrical machinery, apparatus,
appliances and supplies;
() the manufacture of transport equipment, including ship
repair, ship breaking and aircraft repair:
(s) the manufacture of scientific instruments, watches, jewellery, photographic and optical goods, musical instruments, wigs and hair products, sporting and athletic goods;
(1) the manufacture, construction or processing of any other
article or thing whatsoever.
3.
A pilot census of manufacturing establishments in the Colony shall be taken from 17th to 29th August 1970 both days inclusive.
4. The purpose of the census is to test, by sample, the organization and procedure for the taking of a census of manu. facturing establishments under the Census Ordinance.
5. All completed forms and returns collected or received by census officers and all copies thereof shall be destroyed by fire not later than 17th August 1971.
