(b) in paragraph 9-
(0) by deleting "shall" in the first place where it occurs, and substituting the following-
"may":
(ii) by deleting ". functions. privileges and other matters relating to such Union".
Statule 23 of the principal Statutes is amended-
(4) in paragraph 4–
(i) by deleting the semicolon at the end of sub- paragraph (a) and substituting a full stop; and
(ii) by deleting sub-paragraph (b); and
(b) by deleting paragraph $ and substituting the following- **5. The Senate may accept a certificate of proficiency in any subject issued by another university recog- nized for this purpose by the Senate as exempting from any examination of the University in such subject for the degree of Bachelor other than an examination qualifying for that degree in the final year of an approved course of study therefor.".

DANGEROUS GOODS (CLASSIFICATION) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 1970.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

These regulations may be cited as the Dangerous Goods Citation. (Classification) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1970,
2. The Schedule to the principal regulations is amended in Class I of Category 4 by inserting after the item “Tetrachloroe- thylene (Perchloroethylene)" the following new item—

Explanatory Note,
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended Ia indicate their general purport).
Those regulations amend the Schedule to the principal regulations to
give effect to the recommendation of the Dangerous Goods Sunding Com-
mittee that trichloroethane should be included as dangerous goods under
Category 4 Class I of the principal regulations.
