Explanatory Note.

These rules deal with the procedure and forms to be used in con- nexion with proceedings in the District Court under the Rent Increases (Domestic Premises) Control Ordinance. The rules also set out the fees payable in such proceedings.

STATUTES OF THE CHINESE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG (AMENDMENT) STATUTES 1970,
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance, the Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong has made the following statutes-
1. These statutes may be cited as the Statutes of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Amendment) Statules 1970.

Statute 3 of the principal Statutes is amended in para- graph (0) by deleting the semicolon at the end thereof and sub- stituting the following —

"and of each College:".
Statute 5 of the principal Statutes is amended in para- graph 3 by deleting paragraph (d).
4. Statute 8 of the principal Statutes is amended in sub- paragraph (b) of paragraph 1 by inserting after "Secretary of the Council," the following-
"the Administrative and Academic-Planning Committee, the Honorary Degrees Committee.".
5. Statute 13 of the principal Statutes is amended in para- graph 8 by inserting after "The Convocation shall" the following-
" after a date to be determined by the Council,"@
6. Statute 14 of the principal Statutes is amended in sub- paragraph (v) of paragraph 6 by deleting the semicolon at the end thereof and substituting the following-

"within the Faculty:"
Statute 22 of the principal Statutes is amended--
(a) in sub-paragraph (4) of pachgraph 1. by inserting after
"to" the following—
"the University, or": and
