MERCHANT SHIPPING (CONTROL OF PORTS)
(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1970.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made
the following regulations—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Citation. (Control of Ports) (Amendment) Regulations 1970.
2. (1) Regulation 3 shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.
(2) Regulation 4 shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette which shall be subsequent to the day appointed under paragraph (1)
(3) Regulation 5 shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette which shall be subsequent to the day appointed under paragraph (2).
3. The Second Schedule to the principal regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (c) and substituting the follow- ing-
"(c) Boundarier of the Hung Hom Fairway,
On the north, from a position with the Rallway Clock Tower bearing 100* distance 5.9 cables, a line drawn 104* to the southwest corner of the Ocean Terminal in a position. latitude 22“ 17 44" north, longitude 114* 09′ 44" cast, theace 120" to position 22° 17′ 38° north, longitude 114° 09′ 55′′ cast, thence 090° for 2,250 feet, thence 100° for 1,450 feet to the Black and White Chequered Conical Buoy (Gp. Fl. (3) 6 seg) in position latitude 22” 17 33.5" north, longitude 114" 10′ 47′′ east, thence 0344* for 3.740 feet to the Black and White Chequered Conical Buoy (FL. 4 sec.) in position latitude 22* 18′ 04′′ north, longitude 114* 11* 09.5" east, thence 090* to the light buoy in position latitude 22° 19′ 14′′ north, longitude 114* 12′ 06′′ east.
On the south, from the southernmost point of the eastern boundary of the southern fairway, a line drawn 080* for 3,080 feet, thence 088" for 1,580 feet, thence 102" for 3,510 feet to the Red and White Chequered Cap Buoy (Gp. F1. (3) R. 6 sec.) in position latitude 22" 17" 17,9′′ north, longitude 114" 10′ 49.3′′ east, thence 039* for 4,110 feet to the Red and White Chequered Can Buoy (FI. R. 4 sec) in position latitude 22° 17′ 49.3" north, longitude 114' 11' 16.8" east, thence 069' to the light buoy in position latitude 22° 17′ 50′′ north, longitude 114" 12′ 05′′ east,
