Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the rules, but is intended
to indicate their general purport).
The effect of these rules iş---
(a) to increase the maximum amount of a loan which the Commis- sioner of Prisons may grant from the Prisons Department Welfare Fund from $800 to $5,000; and
(b) to enable the borrower to repay the loan by forty-eight monthly
instalments instead of twenty-four.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Revised Edition of the Laws Ordinance 1963, I hereby make the following order-

This order may be cited as the Revised Edition of the Laws (Correction of Error) Order 1970.
1. The errors which appear in the Ordinances specified in the first column of the Schedule are rectified in the manner set out in the second column thereof.
