PUBLIC HEALTH AND URBAN SERVICES ORDINANCE. (Chapter 132).
FUNERAL PARLOUR (AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS 1970.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 123 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws-
1. These by-laws may be cited as the Funeral Parlour (Amendment) By-laws 1970.
2. By-law 3 of the principal by-laws is amended- (a) in the definition of "funeral parlour", by deleting para-
graph (d) and substituting the following-

"(d) any mortuary situated within the precincts of any hospital carried on by a person duly regis- tered in respect thereof under the Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Maternity Homes Registra- tion Ordinance;";
(6) in the definition of "quarantinable disease", by deleting
the full stop and substituting a semicolon;
(c) by adding, after the definition of “quarantinable disease",
the following new definition-

"supervisor" means-
(a) the supervisor of cemeteries and crema-
toria:
(b) any public officer authorized in writing by the Director of Urban Services to be--
(i) the deputy supervisor of cemeteries and crematoria; or
(ii) an assistant supervisor of cemeteries and crematoria,
for the purposes of these by-laws.".
3. By-law 10 of the principal by-laws is amended by insert- ing after "notify" the following-
