(c) Regulation 162(3) of the regulations requires you to submit the following plans in duplicate to the Building Authority not less than 28 days before the commencement of the proposed enter- tainmcol, or such lesser period as he may allow
(D) a block plan showing the position of the place in relation to
adjoining buildings and public streets;
(ii) a layout plan showing the number of persons to be accom- modated in the various parts of the place for which the licence is required and the spacing and widths of gangways. corridors. exits, seats or accommodation spaces:
(ii) in the case of temporary structures. diagrams sufficient to illustrate the proposed method of construction and the spacing and scantling of structural members.

9. (1) Any licence or any application for a licence issued or made under a regulation revoked by these regulations shall continue in force and have effect as if it had been issued or made under these regulations,
(2) Any document referring to a régulation revoked by these regulations shall, so far as may be necessary for preserving its effect, be construed as referring, or as including a reference, to the corresponding regulation in these regulations
(3) Paragraphs (1) and (2) da-noi- derogate from die_provi- sions of section 36 of the Interprétation and General Clauses Ordinance.
or semi-permanent theatres or cinemas. New regulation 162 sels out a procedure to be followed when applying for a licence under Part III. New regulation 164 contains the requirements applicable to temporary structures used or licensed for a public entertainment. These requirements are more extensive than the existing ones and are intended to impose clearer sufety standards. New regulation 163 provides that in the case of permanent structures (other than theatres and cinemas) and vessels which it is intended to use for a publje eplertainment, the requirements of regulation 164 shall. as far as practicable, be applied. Particular attention is drawn to new regulation 164A. which permits the licensing authority to waive or vary any of the requirements of regulation 164. For example this power can be used so as to permit a temporary theatre to be built over water in places where this ja traditionally done.
Regulation 4 effects a minor amendment to regulation 165 of the principal regulations.
Regulation 5 amends regulation 169 by extending the right of entry to the Building Authority, the Director of Fire Services and the Director of Marine and public officers authorized by them.
Regulation 6 adds a new regulation 170A, which facilitates the transfer of licences.
Regulation 7 revokes regulation 177, which dealt with exemptions, a the substance of that regulation is now contained in the Places of Public Entertainment Ordinance.
Regulation & amends the forms of licence and permit contained in the Schedule to the principal regulations and adds a new form to be used in connexion with application for a licence under Part III.
Regulation 9 provides a saving for existing licences and application.
