An Ordinance to amend the Interpretation and General Clauses
Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation and General Clauses (Amendment) Ordinance 1969.

Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended- (a) in the definition of "Governor" by deleting paragraph
(b) and substituting the following-
"(6) the Acting Governort":
(6) by deleting the definition of "officer administering the
Government":
(c) in paragraph (a) of the definition of ""street" and "road"" by inserting, after "passage", the following-
