Addition of new section 71,
The principal Ordinance is amended by adding after section 70 the following new section~
"Powers of
a magistrale and a justice of the peace. (CAA. 227)
71. For the purpose of the exercise of the power conferred by section 31 a magistrate and a justice of the peace may exercise the powers con- ferred on a magistrate by the Magistrates Ordinance of requiring the attendance before him of any person who may be able to assist him in the exercise of such power and of receiving on oath the evidence of any person".

An Ordinance to amend further the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legistative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Inland Revenue (Amendment) (No. 3) Ordinance 1969.
2. Section 65 of the principal Ordinance is amended in sub- section (1) by deleting "forty" and substituting the following-
"sixty".
