(c) in the definition of "wife" and "married woman" by deleting "any Christian marriage or its civil equivalent recognized by the law of the Colony" and substituting the following-
"a monogamous marriage".
3. Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is amended
(a) by deleting "two hundred and fifty" in paragraph (c) and
substituting the following-
"one thousand"; and
(b) by deleting "thirty" in paragraph (d) and substituting the
following
"one hundred and twenty”.

An Ordinance to amend the Registration of United Kingdom
Patents Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Registration of United Kingdom Patents (Amendment) Ordinance 1968.
1 The principal Ordinance is amended by adding the following new sections after section 7-
"Crown.

7A. Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance and of subsection (3) of section 5 of the Crown Proceedings Ordinance, a certificate of registration, whether issued before or after the commencement of the Registration of United Kingdom Patents (Amend- ment) Ordinance 1968, shall, after the commencement of that Ordinance, have the same effect against the Crown as it has against a subject.
Short title.
Addition of new sections 74-70.
