An Ordinance to amend further the Public Health and Urban
Services Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1.
This Ordinance may be cited as the Public Health and Urban Services (Amendment) Ordinance 1968.
2. Section 77 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following—
(1) The Authority may in relation to the slaughter of animals or birds for food for human consumption make regulations prescribing or providing for
(a) the regulation or contral (including prohibition) of
slaughtering in any place other than a slaughterhouse; (b) the maintenance and cleanliness of slaughterhouses;
