ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT)

RULES 1968.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 72 of the Legal Practitioners Ordinance, the Chief Justice has made the following rules

1. These rules may be cited as the Admission and Registra Citation.

tion (Amendment) Rules 1968.

2. The Schedule to the principal rules is amended-

(a) in Form 2, by inserting the following after “has passed"

in paragraph (2) in the second place where these words

occur-

"/was exempted from"; and

(6) in Form 4, by inserting the following after "passed" in

paragraph 7-

Explanatory Note.

(This Note is not part of the ruler, but is intended to indicate their general purport).

The object of these rules is to extend the provisions in Forms 2 and 4

in the Schedule to the principal rules so as to include reference to excmp- tion from the Part II examination in view of the fact that such exemption

may now be granted under rule 17 of the Students Rules.
