Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
These regulations prescribe a special form for notification of any case of tuberculosis in order that a proper epidemiological assessment of thie disease in Hong Kong may be obtained. The opportunity has been taken to make certain minor amendments to the existing form which becomes the form for notification of infectious diseases other than tuberculosis.

Present,
The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council. Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by sections 17 and 20 of the Fugitive Offenders Act 1967(a), is plean- ed, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Fugitive Offenders (Overseas Territories) (No. 2) Order 1968.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on 6th September
Cilation and Commencement.
2. The Interpretation Act 1889(b) shall apply, with the Interpretation. necessary adaptations, for the purpose of interpreting this Order and otherwise in relation thereto as it applies for the purpose of interpreting, and in relation to. Acts of Parliament.
3. Each of the Orders in Council specified in Schedule 1 bereto is amended in the manner set out in Schedule 2 hereto.
