ROAD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE.
(Chapter 220),
ROAD TRAFFIC (DRIVING LICENCES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1968,
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Road Traffic Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the follow- ing regulations~~
1. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 1968.
(2) Until the 1st day of August 1969, any person who- (a) held a licence, at the commencement of these regulations, entitling him to drive goods vehicles of a weight unladen not exceeding two tons and private cars; and (b) continues to hold such a licence,
shall be deemed also to hold a licence entitling him to drive dual purpose vehicles registered for use as private cars and as goods vehicles.
2. Regulation 3 of the principal regulations is amended- (a) by deleting the full stop at the end thereof and sub-
stituting a semicolon; and
(b) by inserting the following new paragraph-
"(0 dual purpose vehicles registered for use
private care and as goods vehicles.".
3. Regulation 11 of the principal regulations is amended- (4) in paragraph (2), by deleting "to such person” and sub-
stituting the following-
"in respect of such person":
by inserting the following new paragraphs after para- graph (2)—–—–—–
"(2A) No person shall be permitted to take a driving test unless there is available in respect of that person an effective driving test form.
(28) Every driving test form issued under para- graph (2) shall cease to be an effective driving test form-
(a) if the person in respect of whom it was issued fails to attend for a driving test at
