short duration of voyages, whereby full compliance with the rules and regulations is considered to be unreason. able, impracticable, or unnecessary in that other arrange- ments have been substituted to the satisfaction of Director of Marine which are considered at least as effective as those required by the rules or regulations. The exemption contained in this notice shall be deemed to have taken effect on 6th December 1966 and shall remain in operation until revoked either generally or specifically in relation to any one ship of the above class.

LAND REGISTRATION ORDINANCE. (Chapter 128).
LAND REGISTRATION (NEW TERRITORIES) FEES REGULATIONS 1967.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Land Registration Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations→→
1. These regulations may be cited as the Land Registration Ciation. (New Territories) Fees Regulations 1967.
2. (1) Subject to paragraphs (2) and (3), the fees set forth in the Schedule shall be taken in District Land Offices for the matters therein mentioned.
(2) Where any deed or instrumem which is tendered for regis- tration in a District Land Office has been registered in any other District Land Office on payment of the registration fee set forth in the Schedule, the fee for registering such deed or instrument in the first-mentioned District Land Office shall be the fee set forth in the Schedule or fifteen dollars, whichever is the less.
(3) Where any mortgage or charge, or any reassignment, dis- charge, release, transfer or certificate of satisfaction of any mort- gage or charge, which is tendered for registration in any District Land Office relates to other property as well as to land to which Part II of the New Territories Ordinance applies and has been registered in the Land Office in Victoria on payment of the regis- tration fee prescribed in the Land Registration Fees Regulations, the fee for registering such deed or instrument in the District Land Office shall be the fee set forth in the Schedule or fifteen dollars, whichever is the less.
3. A District Officer may waive any fes required to be taken in respect of any of the matters mentioned in the Schedule if he is satisfied that the fee would, if charged, be paid out of the public funds of the Colony.
4. The Land Office (New Territories) Fees Rules are hereby revoked.
