For the purpose of this paragraph, a period of & hours' training shall be deemed to be the equivalent of one day's attendance at camp. (2) The Commanding Officer may, at his discretion, exempt any officer or member from his training or obligations or any part thereof.

The Commanding Officer shall fix the times and places of parades.
No officer or member shall be deemed efficient in any year until he has undergone the annual training prescribed in this Schedule and has passed such tests of efficiency as may from time to time be laid down by the Commanding Officer and approved by the Service Commander.
The Governor may, in special circumstances, cxempt an officer or a member from the provisions of this rule.

RULES FOR TRAINING OF Officers and MEMBERS OF THB HONG KONG Home Guard,

Every officer and member shall-
(a) attend not less than 30 training periods annually which may be
reduced at the discretion of the Commanding Officer; and

HONG KONG AUXILIARY AIR FORCE (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1967,
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Royal Hong Kong Defence Force Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-
1. These regulations may be cited as the Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force (Amendment) Regulations 1967, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1967.
2. Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "and the Commandaut".
3. Regulation 8 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (by deleting "Commandant” and substituting therefor the following-
"Governor".
4. Regulation 11 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "and instruction".
5. Regulation 16 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting "instruction" and substituting therefor the following-
"training".
6. Regulation 19 of the principal regulations is amended in paragraph (2) by deleting "instruction" wherever it occurs and substituting therefor the following-
"training".
7. The Schedule to the principal regulations is deleted and replaced by the following-

These regulations delete from the principal regulations all references to "instruction" and "instruction periods" (regulations 3, 4, 5 and 6), which terms have been deleted from the Royal Hong Kong Defence Force Ordinance. They also make a format amendment in regulation 9 of the principal regulations.
