These regulations amend the Resettlement Regulations by the addition of regulation 13 which provides that the charge payable in respect of the installation of circuit breakers on or in factory premises shall be thirty dollars for each ampers of each circuit breaker installed.

A consequential amendment is also made in paragraph (f) of condi- tion of the General Conditions of Tenancy in Form 3A of the First Schedule to the Resettlement Regulations.

The opportunity has also been taken to extend the application of regulation 12 to cottage areas. Part III of the Second Schedule has been amended, so as to set out the monthly real in a form that shows the basic rent and any additional sum payable in respect of cares. Part IV of the Second Schedule has also been amended, so as to impose a uniformu rent of 31 a month for each set of premises (irrespective of size) used as schools or for non-profit-making charitable or welfare organizations; and additional rent is payable if the premises are also used for non-school, religious activities.

PROBATION OF OFFENDERS (AMENDMENT) RULES 1967.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Probation of Offenders Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following rules-

1. These rules may be cited as the Probation of Offenders (Amendment) Rules 1967.

2. Ruk 31 of the Probation of Offenders Rules is revoked and replaced by the following-

"Provision

of bed, and

supply of clothing to proba- dodera.

31. The superintendent shall provide a proba- toner who is in residence in an approved institution with a separate bed and may provide such a pabba- tioner with such clothing she considers necessary.
