As it is Government's policy to recruit overseas officers in

the public services only if there are no suitable local officers, was the newly created post of Principal amenities Officer advertised in the local press for local candidates prior to the recruitment abroad, and if not, why not?

The Attorney General to move the following resolution :-

Resolved that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section

18 of the Magistrates Ordinance, the Third Schedule to the sald Ordinance be amended

(a) by the deletion of item 3 and the substitution therefor

of the following

(39 of 1957).

(G.N.A. 89/56).

(G.N.A. 106/56).

(1) of seation 17 of the Road Traffic Ordinance 1957.
