PROCLAMATION.
No. 4 of 1966.
BY HIS EXCELLENCY SIR DAVID CLIVE CROSBIE TRENCH. Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, upon whom has been conferred the Decoration of the Military Cross, Governor and Commander in Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by section 1 of the Merchant Shipping (Recruiting of Seamen) Ordinance 1966 (No. 7 of 1966), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gazetter
NOW, THEREFORE, I, DAVID CLIVE CROSBIE TRENCH, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 27th day of June, 1966.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong this 28th day of May, 1966.
