Rule 160 of the principal rules is amended by the deletion of the words "The Hospital Chief Officer" and the substitution therfy of the following-

7. Rule 161 of the principal rules is amended, in paragraph (1), by the deletion of the words "The Hospital Chief Officer" and the sub- stitution therefor of the following-

"The Chief Officer appointed to a prison hospital".

Rule 163 of the principal rules is revoked and replaced by the following-

163. The rules relating to a Chief Officer appointsă to a prison hospital shall be equally applicable to a Principe Officer on duty in a prison hospital, whose further day. shall be to assist the Chief Officer appointed to the prisu hospital and to perform such other duties as the Commis sioner or the Medical Officer may order.".

10. Rule 164 of the principal rules is amended by the delction of the words "Hospital Officers, Hospital Warders and other Hospital Suf and the substitution therefor of the following→→

"Prison officers, warders and other staff on duty in a prise hospital".

11. Rules 173 to 185 of the principal rules are revoked.

These rules make such amendments to the Prison Rules 1954 as are necessary in consequence of changes in the establishment and rank structure of the Prisons Department and in the titles of certain posts in the Department.
