PART VII.

(Note:

FEES PAYABLE IN BELATION TO SMALL CRAFT.

Fees for surveys and examinations for local certificates of competency will be found in Parts II and TV respectively).

Purpose or service,

1. The fees payable for the licensing of small craft

shall be in accordance with the following scale--

Fees.

Note: (1) Where a licence is required for a period not exceeding 9 months or 6 months duration, 4 or‍ 4 the respective fee prescribed in the above scale shall be payable.

(2) A nominal fee of $1.00 shall be charged for the licensing of sampane and dinghies normally carried by Class V and Class VI vessels, and for the licensing of sampans of under 15 piculs used exclusively in connexion with fishing slakes, oyster beds or shrimping, provided that the licence of the parent vessel or stake net is endorsed with the licence number of the sampan or diughy and vice versa.

(3) The licence fee shall cover the first issue of a licence book but shall not cover issues of duplicates.

(4) A fee of $20.00 shall be charged for the inspection of vessels In respect of applications for conversion of class or suitability for specific purposes.
