WATERWORKS ORDINANCE.
(Chapter 102).
WATERWORKS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1965.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Waterworks Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-
1. These regulations may be cited as the Waterworks (Amend- Citation. ment) Regulations 1965.
2. Appendix I of the Waterworks Regulations is amended, under Amendment the heading "PRICE OF WATER", by the deletion of the first, second of Appendix and third paragraphs and the substitution therefor of the following--
"1. In this Table-
fresh water for-
(a) "construction purposes" includes any fresh water used for any purpose connected with construction or alteration of any premises; or
(b) "shipping purpose" includes any fresh water-
(i) supplied to any pier, wharf or seawall for use on any vessel other than a vessel required to be licensed under regulations made under sections 94 and 102 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1953 and including that supplied to or for use on any vessel employed for the conveyance of water to vessels not licensed under the aforesaid regulations;
(ii) supplied to any pier, wharf or seawall or for use on any vessel required to be licensed under regulations made under sections 94 and 102 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1953 but excluding that supplied to or for use on any vessel employed for the conveyance of water to vessels not licensed under the aforesaid regulations; or (c) "trade purposes" includes any fresh water used for any purpose connected with any trade, manufacture or business other than construction or shipping purposes; or
(d) "domestic purposes" means any fresh water used for any purpose connected solely with the occupation of a dwelling-house.
