REGISTRATION OF PERSONS (CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION AND IDENTITY CARDS) (NO. 7) ORDER 1965.
In exercise of the powers conferred by provisos (vi) and (vii) 10 section 10 of the Registration of Persons Ordinance 1960, the Governor has made the following Order-
1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Persons (Can- Cluation, cellation of Registration and Identity Cards) (No. 7) Order 1965.

2. Any person affected by the Orders specified in the Schedule Cancellation shall, with effect from the 19th March, 1965 cease to be deemed to be registered under the provisions of the Registration of Persons Ordin- identity cards ance 1960 and any identity card held by such person shall with effect in certain from such date cease to be deemed to have been issued under the se provisions of that Ordinance.

Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the Order, bur is intended to indicate da general purport).
This Order affects only those persons who were in possession of old identity cards isaned under the Registration of Persons Ordinance Chapter 177, repealed by the Registration of Persons Ordinance 1960, in any of the following series-
445,001 A - 475,000A
475,001A -- 505,000A
and who have failed by the 19th March, 1965 to have re-registered in com- plance with the appropriate Orders specified in the Schedule. The effect of this Order will be to render any old identity card in possession of any such person invalid and to cause him to become an uqregistered person with effect from the said date.
