An Ordinance further to amend the Tenancy (Notice of Termination)

Ordinance 1962.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Tenancy (Notice of Sbort title. Termination) (Amendment) Ordinance 1965.

2. Section 3 of the Tenancy (Notics of Termination) Ordinance Amendment 1962 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended in of section 3. subsection (4) by-

(2) the insertion, after the words "month to month tenancy”, of

the following-

". together with, in the absence of any express covenant for the payment of rent and condition for forfeiture, the covenant and condition implied in every tenancy by sec- tion SA"; and

(b) the deletion of the second sentence therein.
