Repeal and replacement of section 30.
3. Section 30 of the principal Ordinance is repeated and replaced by the following—
"Payment for calls outside the company's telephone Bystern.
30. The company may refuse to permit any person to make any call through its telephone system to any place outside the Colony or to any ship by way of a service operated by Cable and Wireless Limited unless such person shall have satisfied the reasonable requirements of the Com- pany in regard to security for the due charges in respect of such calls.".
This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 7th day of July, 1955, and is found by me to be a true, correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Inland Revenue Sbort tide, (Amendment) Ordinance 1965, and shall be deemed to have had effect commence- as from the 1st day of April, 1965.

(2) The amendments to the Inland Revenue Ordinance (hereinafter (Cep. 112, referred to as the principal Ordinance) made by sections 2 to 10 1955 Repring). inclusive, 12 to 15 inclusive, 17 to 20 inclusive, 22, 24 and 25 shall apply in relation to all assessments in respect of the year of assessment commencing on the 1st day of April, 1965 and subsequent years of assessments.
