An Ordinance to amend the Companies Ordinance.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Companies (Amendment) Short file. Ordinance 1965.
* The Companies Ordinance is amended by the addition, after Addition of section 212, of the following new sections-

(1) Where it appears to the court on applica- tion being made by the Official Receiver, liquidator or by any creditor at any time after the presentation of a wind- ing up petition, whether presented before or after the commencement of the Companies (Amendment) Ordin- ance 1965, that by reason of the large number of creditors or contributories or for any other reason the interest of
