An Ordinance further to amend the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1953.

Ba it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows—
and com- mancemeat.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Merchant Shipping Short title (Amendment) Ordinance 1965, and, subject to the provisions of sec- tion 68, shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gazette.
2. Section 2 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1953 (herein. Ameodom after referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended-

(a) in the definition "Merchant Shipping Acts", by the deletion of the figures "1952" and the substitution therefor of the following-
**1960":
(5) in the definition "Minister", by the deletion of the words "and
Civil Aviation" wherever they appear; and
