An Ordinance to make provision for the preparation, publication and periodical revision of a revised edition of the laws of the Colony.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Revised Edition of the Short title.
Laws Ordinance 1965.
2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires- "commissioner" means the person appointed under section 3; "effective date" means the date specified by the Governor under sub- section (1) of section 11 for the coming into operation of the revised edition;
"Ordinance" means—
(4) any Ordinance enacted by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and any subsidiary legis- lation made under or by virtue thereof; and
