3.
Section 7 of the principal Ordinance is amended by the dele- tion of the words "be a sum equal to forty-eight months' earnings or fourteen thousand dollars” and the substitution therefor of the following-

where the accident happens before the 1st day of May, 1965, be a sum equal to forty-eight months' earnings or fourteen thousand dollars, whichever is less, and shall, where the accident happens on or after the 1st day of May, 1963, be a sum equal to forty-eight months' earnings or twenty-four thousand dollars.".
This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 28th day of April, 1965, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Land Registration Short tide. (Amendment) Ordinance 1965.
1. Section 7 of the Land Registration Ordinance is amended-
Amendment of section 7.
(a) by the deletion of the full stop at the end thereof and the (Cap. 128).
substitution therefor of the following-

(b) by the insertion, after paragraph (b), of the following new
paragraph-
"(c) where the memorial has been prepared in the Land
Office, by the certificate of the Land Officer.”.
