An Ordinance further to amend the Births and Deaths Registration

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Births and Deaths Regis- Short titlo tration (Amendment) Ordinance 1965, and shall come into operation and com on a day to be appointed by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gazette.
2. Section 7 of the Births and Deaths Registration Ordinance Amendment (hereinafter referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the of section 7. deletion of the words "fourteen days" and the substitution therefor of (Cap. 174). the following-
"forty-two days".
3. Section & of the principal Ordinance is amended by the dele. Amendment tion of the words "fourteen days", where they occur in subsections (1) of section 8. and (2), and the substitution therefor respectively of the following-
"forty-two days”.
