An Ordinance further to amend the Fire Services Ordinance, 1954.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fire Services (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance, 1964.
The long title of the Fire Services Ordinance, 1954 (berein- Amendment after referred to as the principal Ordinance) is amended by the insertion, of the after the word "provision" where it occurs for the second time, of the title. tollowing——
"for the prevention of fire hazards and“.

* "fire hazard" means-
(a) any alteration to any building in contravention of the Buildings Ordinance, 1955, such as might render escape in the event of fire or other calamity materially more difficult;
