ROAD TRAFFIC (TAXIS, PUBLIC OMNIBUSES AND
PUBLIC CARS) REGULATIONS, 1964.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3, 4 and 5A of the Road Traffic Ordinance, 1957, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

CITATION, INTERPRETATION AND APPLICATION.

2. In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires- Interpreta "Authority" means the Commissioner of Police or any person who is declared by any enactment to be the authority for the purposes of these regulations and any person to whom the powers and functions of the Authority have been delegated by him:

"Public car" includes a dual purpose velücle licensed for use as a public
car and as a goods vehicle:
"registered", "registered owner" and "registration mark" have the
meaning assigned to them by regulation 2 of the Road Traffic (G.N.A. (Registration and Licensing of Vehicles) Regulations, 1956;
