REGISTRATION OF PERSONS (CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION AND IDENTITY CARDS) (NO. 9) ORDER, 1963.

In exercise of the powers conferred by provisos (vi) and (vil) to section 10 of the Registration of Persons Ordinance. 1960, the Governor has made the following Order-

Explanatory Note,

(This Note is not part of the Order, but la intended to indicate its general purport).

This Order affects only these persons who were in possession of old identity cards issued under the Registration of Persons Ordinance, Chapter 177, repealed by the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960, in any of the following aèries-

550,001 to $90,000

$90,001 to 650,000

and who have failed by the 20th January, 1964, to have re-registered in com- pliance with the appropriate Orders specified in the Schedule. The effect of this Order will be to render any old identity card in possession of any such person invalid and to cause him to become an unregistered person with ellect from the suid date,
