REGISTRATION OF PERSONS ORDINANCE, 1960. (No. 18 of 1960).
REGISTRATION OF PERSONS (CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION AND IDENTITY CARDS) (NO. 6) ORDER, 1963. Io exercise of the powers conferred by provisos (vi) and (vii) to section 10 of the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960, the Governor has made the following Order-
1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Persous (Can- Citation. cellation of Registration and Identity Cards) (No. 6) Order, 1963.

2. Any person affected by the Orders specified in the Schedule Cancellations shall, with effect from the 30th December, 1963, cease to be deemed to of registra- be registered under the provisions of the Registration of Persons Ordin- identity ance, 1960 and any identity card held by such person shall with effect cards in from such date cease to be deemed to have been issued under the certain cases.

Explanatory Note.
(This Nore is not part of the Order, but is intended to indicate in general purport),
This Order affects only those persons who were in possession of old identity cards issued under the Registration of Persons Ordinance, Chapter 177, repealed by the Registration of Persons Ordinancs, 1960, in the fallowing series--
330,001 to 340,000
340,001 to 350,000
350,001 to 360.000
and who have failed by the 30th December, 1963 to have re-registered in com- pliance with the appropriate Orders specified in the Schedule. The effect of this Order will be to render any old identity card in possession of any such person invalid and to cause him to become an unregistered person with effect from the said date.
