REGISTRATION OF PERSONS (CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION AND IDENTITY CARDS) (NO. 2) ORDER, 1963.

In exercise of the powers conferred by provisos (vi) and (vii) to gction 10 of the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960, the Governor las made the following Order-

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Persons Citation. Cancellation of Registration and Identity Cards) (No. 2) Order, 1963.

Explanatory Note,

(This Note is not part of the Order, but is intended to indicate its general purport).

This Order affects only those persons who were in possession of old identity and ised under the Registration of Persons Ordinance, Chapter 177, repealed by the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1960, in the following series-

ud who have failed by the 23rd September, 1963, to have re-registered in smpliance with the appropriate Order specified in the Schedule. The effect this Order will be to render any old identity card in possession of any such prabovalid and to cause him to become an unregistered person with effect ben the said date.
