[8. 5).
1. Where in the Naval Discipline Act, 1957, and in the Queen'a Regulations and Admiralty Instructions, in so far as the same ere applicable to the officers and men of the Naval Reserve, any power or duty is vested in or imposed upon the Admiralty, such power of duty shall, in respect of the Naval Reserve be vested in, chercised or performed by the Governor :
Provided that this paragraph shall not apply when the Naval Reserve is called out.
2. Where not inconsistent with the subject matter of the Naval Discipline Act, 1957, the words “Hong Kong" shall be read in place of the words "England", or "United Kingdom” wherever they occur,

Subsection (6) of section 44 of the Naval 'Discipline Act, 1957, shall be read as if the following subsection were substituted therefor
*(6) (a) A fine shall not exceed the amount of the offender's basic pay for seven days, and upon the Commanding Officer so ondering, be deducted from any pay due to the offender.
(8) Where the offender has no pay due to him and does not, out of his own funds, pay the time, such Ene shall be recovered as a civil debi due to the Crown before a magistrate.
(c) In any such proceedings before & magistrate, the magistrate shall have regard only as to whether the officer inflicting the fine had power so to do:
Provided that this subsection shall not apply when the Naval
Reserve is called out".

Section 101 of the Naval Discipline Act, 1957, shall not apply to the officers and men of the Naval Reserve matess they have been called out and are serving outside the Colony."
This printed impression has been carefully compared by me with the Bill which passed the Legislative Council on the 13th day of June, 1962, and is found by me to be a true and correctly printed copy of the said Bill.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Banking (Amendment) Short uitle Ordinance, 1962.

(2) Paragraph (a) of section 2 shall be deemed to have bad effect of section as from the 30th day of January, 1948.
2. Section 7 of the Baoking Ordinance is amended by-
(a)
the insertion in paragraph (d) of subsection (1), after the word "return", of the following-

forthwith or on or before such day as may be appointed by the order."; and
