No. 2 of 1962.

Governor.

BY HIS EXCELLENCY SIR ROBERT BROWN BLACK, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and Commffider-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.

WHEREAS by section 1 of the Magistrates (Amendment) Ordinance. 1961 (No. 55 of 1961), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by Proclama- tion in the Gazente:

NOW THEREFORE, I, ROBERT BROWN BLACK, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 28th day of January, 1962.

GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong this 25th day of January, 1962.
