Officer Administering the Government.
BY HIS EXCELLENGY CLAUDE BRAMALL BURGESS, Esquire, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Officer Administering the Government of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same.
WHEREAS by section 1 of the New Territories (Amendment) Ordin- unce. 1961 (No. 13 of 1961), it is provided that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by Proclamation in the Gagerte ;
NOW THEREFORE, I, CLAUDE BRAMALĮ, BURGESS, do hereby PROCLAIM that the said Ordinance shall come into operation on the 8th day of September, 1961,
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony of Hong Kong this 6th day of September. 1961.
