PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION ORDINANCE.

(Chapter 93).

Public Services Commission (Amendment) Regulations, 1961.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Public Services Commission Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Public Services Com- Citation. mission (Amendment) Regulations, 1961.

1. Regulation 2 of the Public Services Commission Regulations Amendment thereinafter referred to as the principal regulations) is amended by the insertion after the definition "efficiency bar" of the following (Vol. IX, definition-

"Establishment Officer" includes an Assistant Establishment

3. Regulation 3 of the principal regulations is amended-

(a) by the deletion of paragraph (2) and the substitution therefor

of the following-

(2) The provisions of paragraph (1) shall not apply

in the case of any pensionable office or special appoint-

ment the initial salary applicable to which-

(a) if the office or appointment is held by a male,

is less than nine hundred and thirty dollars per month; or

(8) if the office or appointment is held by a female,

is less than six hundred and ninely dollars per month.**

(b) in paragraph (3) by the deletion of the reference "para-

graph (1)" and the substitution therefor of the following--

"paragraphs (1) and (2)".
