REGISTRATION OF Persons Order, 1960.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Registra-

tion of Persons Ordinance, 1960, the Officer Administering the Govern-

ment has made the following Order-

L This Order may be cited as the Registration of Persons Order. Citation. 1960.

1. Every person specified in the Schedule shall make application Category of to be registered under the provisions of the Registration of Persons persoas Ordinance, 1960, and regulations made thereunder.

SCHEDULE.

Every person of the age of seventeen years and upwards who is not yet or heady registered with the Commissioner of Registration and the family.

Explanatory Note.

(This Nore is not part of the Order, but is intended to indicate its general purport).

The Order, in the main, affects persons who have recently arrived in he Colony and those who for some reason or other have not been able hitherto

to make application to be registered.

2. "Family" means persons living in the Colony of six years of age and wer and under seventeen years who are related to or dependent on an applicant.

3. This Order, however, does not preclude holders of identity cards who buy require replacements to take steps to obtain them.
