An Ordinance to provide for the taking of a census.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Census Ordinance, 1960, Short Wilk.
2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires- "pensus officer" means the Commissioner, any Deputy Commissioner of Census appointed under section 4 and any person employed under section 6:
"Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Census appointed under
section 4:
"return" means a return made in accordance with section 12.
