An Ordinance to extend the operation of the Buildings Ordinance, 1955,
to the New Territories, subject to certain modifications,

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Buildings Ordinance, Short title 1955, (Application to the New Territories) Ordinance, 1960, and shall and com come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by mencement. Proclamation in the Gazette.
2. In this Ordinance, save where the context otherwise requires-- Interpre-

(a) "District Commissioner" means the District Commissioner.
New Territories, the Deputy District Commissioner, New Territories, and any District Officer;
"lease" includes any agreement for the grant of a lease; "New Territories" does not include New Kowloon;
