An Ordinance to amend the Magistrates Ordinance. Chapter 227.

Be it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follow-
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Magistrates (Amendment) Sbort dtle, Ordinance, 1960.
2. Section 11 of the Magistrates Ordinance (hereinafter referred Amendment
to as the principal Ordinance) is amended –
(a) by the insertion after the word "character" of the following---
(Cap. 131).
or where a prosecution is for an offence against the Societies Ordinance and is an offence relating to or otherwise connected with a Triad Society":
of section 11, (Cap. 237).
